Workflow Builder
The Workflow Builder is a structured pipeline that takes you from initial concept to render-ready prompts.
The Four Stages
Every creative project in Elcine Studios follows a four-stage workflow. Each stage produces a specific artifact that feeds into the next, creating a complete creative pipeline.
Stage 1: Creative Brief
Define your project's goals, audience, and creative direction.
Includes:
- • Project title and description
- • Target audience and demographics
- • Key messages and tone
- • Visual references and inspiration
- • Constraints and requirements
Stage 2: Script
Structure your narrative with timing and content.
Includes:
- • Narrative arc and structure
- • Voiceover or dialogue text
- • Scene descriptions
- • Timing and duration estimates
- • Key moments and beats
Stage 3: Shotlist
Plan every shot with detailed technical specifications.
Includes:
- • Shot numbers and scene references
- • Camera angles and framing
- • Lens and focal length
- • Camera movement
- • Lighting direction
- • Subject and action descriptions
- • Duration per shot
Stage 4: Prompt Pack
Generate AI-ready prompts for each shot in your sequence.
Includes:
- • Structured JSON format
- • Provider-specific parameters
- • Positive and negative prompts
- • Style and quality settings
- • Aspect ratio and size specs
- • Generation settings
Working Through the Workflow
Starting a New Project
When you start a new project, you'll be prompted to create a Creative Brief. This can be done:
- With a Companion — Chat with the Ad Creative Strategist to develop your brief collaboratively
- From a Template — Start with a pre-built template for common project types
- From Scratch — Fill in the brief form directly with your own specifications
Generating Artifacts
As you work through each stage, Elcine generates artifacts automatically. You can:
- Edit artifacts manually in the editor panel
- Ask a Companion to refine or expand the artifact
- Generate the next stage's artifact from the current one
- Export any artifact as JSON for backup or sharing
Iteration and Refinement
The workflow isn't strictly linear. You can:
- Jump back to any previous stage
- Regenerate artifacts with different parameters
- Create multiple versions of each artifact
- Compare versions side by side
Best Practices
The Brief is Everything
The quality of your final output is directly proportional to the quality of your brief. Spend time here. Be specific about your goals, audience, and constraints. A vague brief produces generic results.
Think in Shots, Not Scenes
When building your shotlist, think about individual AI generations. Each shot should describe a single, coherent image or video clip. Avoid combining multiple actions or subjects in one shot description.
Use the Style Bible
Maintain consistency by defining a style bible early in the process. Include specific references for color palette, lighting style, and lens characteristics. This information propagates through to every shot in your Prompt Pack.
Test with Singles, Then Batch
Before generating an entire sequence, test your Prompt Pack with a single shot. Validate that the style, composition, and quality meet your expectations, then batch generate the rest.
